Four Steps to Pick It Up Locally

Confirm your details, upload your ID and W-9, enter your local FFL's contact info, verify eligibility, and sign the release.

We verify and coordinate with your FFL
We'll confirm your dealer's license on file and arrange the shipment. We may call you at the number you provide if anything's missing.

The firearm ships to your dealer
Your FFL receives the firearm and will contact you when it arrives. The non-firearm items ship separately to your address.

Pick it up and complete the transfer
Bring your photo ID to your FFL, fill out the federal Form 4473, and pass a background check. Once cleared, it's yours. (Your dealer may charge a transfer fee.)

How to Find One
Most local gun stores and ranges are licensed dealers and handle transfers for a small fee (typically $25–$75).

  2. Call and ask: "Do you accept transfers, and what's the fee?"
  3. Once they say yes, grab their name, address, phone, and email for the form.
